Starfield is Bethesda Game Studios' grand space exploration action RPG, published by Bethesda Softworks. Set across the Settled Systems in the year 2330, humanity has expanded beyond our solar system, living among over one thousand charted planets. Players join Constellation, the last group of space explorers seeking rare alien artifacts scattered across the galaxy.
The game offers staggering player freedom, combining deep character creation, complex skill trees, modular starship building, and planetary outpost colonization. Players can customize their personal spacecraft from nose to tail, engage in tactical dogfights in zero gravity, board enemy starships, and explore alien biomes harboring strange wildlife and forgotten facilities.
Powered by the Creation Engine 2, Starfield delivers an ambitious, sprawling science fiction adventure supported by extensive community modding, faction storylines, and rich role-playing opportunities.
